CAMPUS FACILITY CLEANING SPECIALIST

 

Basic Functions:

This position is responsible for the appearance, cleaniness, and maintenance of all campus facilities and grounds of Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist Church.

 

Job Duties:

  • Perform regularly maintain the building floorings with routine mopping and sweeping

  • Provides preventative maintenance for potential accidents like presence of loose pieces of carpet or liquid spills that may develop as a fall hazard.

  • Performs daily restroom cleaning sanitation and disinfecting, including thoroughly washing and cleaning mirrors and sinks.

  • Stock and supply bathrooms with tissues and other toiletries.

  • Maintain frequent cleanliness of urinals and toilets.

  • Regularly empty trash cans and dump garbage.

  • Inspect light bulbs and replace when necessary.

  • Performs general cleaning and dusting of office equipments, furniture and office walls.

  • Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Church Facilities Campus Supervisor.

 

Job Skills and Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work in cooperative team environment.

  • Ability to take directives from authority.

  • Ability to follow policies and procedures governed by church administration.

  • Available and on call on a 24-hour, seven day a week basis for emergencies.

  • Ability to communicate with staff and volunteers on facility needs and uses.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

 

Job Summary: 

Performs the daily on-going administrative & clerical support in the church office and back-up support when needed for bookkeeper

 

Job Duties:

 

  • Provide support of special events planning and execution

  • Managing weekly constant contact messages

  • Data entry of financial offering envelopes   

  • Write letters and correspondence as directed.

  • Greets scheduled visitors and conducts tours on campus as needed

  • Coordinate information for Sunday announcements/newsletters, website as requested.

  • Assist in the establishment of the Volunteer Ministry

  • Inventory and purchasing program and reporting

 

Qualifications: 

A Minimum of 3-5 years of administrative experience is required for this position.  Applicants should have basis knowledge in bookkeeping and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, ACCESS, PowerPoint, Outlook and Quickbooks.

  • Extremely organized

  • Strong multi-tasking and time management skills

  • Working knowledge of business and management principles involved in coordination of people, projects, events and resources.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Must be committed to the church’s mission and message.

GROUP SUPERVISOR/HEAD TEACHER

 

Job Duties:

  • Plan both long and short range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy.

  • Meet the emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of each child

  • Encourage assistants to contribute to curriculum planning

  • Coordinate field trips

  • Prepare monthly plan charts

  • Complete bi-annual assessment of children's development

  • Report progress of children to parents in bi-annual reports and through parent-teacher conferences

  • Maintain daily open communication with parents

  • Keep accident reports

  • Maintain ancedotal records

  • Maintain confidentiality

  • Report any suspect abuse to supervisor

  • Arrange a classroom environment in accordance to program goals and philosophy

  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment

  • Inspect and replace damaged or lost materials

  • Attend inservice and staff meetings

  • Supervise assistants, aides and volunteers in the classroom

  • Keep all appropriate records such as records, attendance and time sheets.

  • Meet all applicable liscensing regulations
